Pregnancy is such a beautiful and transformative season of life — and your maternity session is all about celebrating you. As an Airdrie and Calgary maternity photographer, my goal is to create an experience that makes you feel radiant, confident, and glamorous while documenting this once-in-a-lifetime chapter. Here’s exactly what you can expect when you book your maternity photography session in 2025 with Meagan Paige Photography:



When to Book Your Maternity Session


I recommend scheduling your maternity session between 28–34 weeks. At this stage, your bump has a beautiful round shape, but you’re still comfortable enough to move and pose with ease. If your pregnancy is progressing differently, don’t worry — I’ll help you choose the perfect time for your pregnancy photoshoot.

Your Styling Experience


All of my maternity sessions include access to my luxury client closet, featuring a carefully curated collection of gowns that flatter every body type.


  • For studio maternity sessions, I suggest choosing 3–4 gowns so we can capture a variety of looks without feeling rushed.

  • For outdoor maternity sessions, 1–2 gowns work best since outfit changes are more limited on location.



Whether you prefer soft and elegant, bold and glamorous, or a mix of both — I’ll help you select gowns that highlight your unique style and create the most stunning maternity portraits.



Studio or Outdoor Options


  • Studio Maternity Photography: Sessions take place in my luxurious home studio in Airdrie, designed with comfort and beauty in mind. Here, you’ll enjoy a relaxed experience with full control over lighting, backdrops, and styling — perfect for a glamorous, editorial look.

  • Outdoor Maternity Photography: These sessions take advantage of Alberta’s stunning landscapes — think golden sunsets, tall grass fields, or riverside views near Calgary. These are perfect if you dream of a glowing, natural backdrop for your pregnancy photos.

Including Your Partner or Children


Maternity photos are not just about you — they’re about your growing family. Your partner and children are more than welcome to join your maternity photoshoot. Many families love capturing tender, emotional moments together before welcoming their new baby.



The Flow of Your Session


Your maternity photography session typically lasts 60–90 minutes, giving us plenty of time for outfit changes, posing, and variety in your gallery. I’ll guide you through flattering poses and natural movements so you feel comfortable, confident, and radiant in front of the camera.

Investment Details


The session fee is $250, which covers your customized maternity experience, access to my client closet, and my time and expertise. Images are purchased separately once you’ve seen your fully edited gallery, allowing you to select the collection that best fits your needs.


Digital Image Collections start at $650.


📌 Many families choose to bundle their maternity and newborn photography. The Maternity + Newborn Bundleincludes both session fees for just $400 (instead of $250 each).



After Your Session


Within 2–3 weeks, you’ll receive a proofing gallery of your fully edited images. From there, you can select the digital collection you’d like to purchase — whether that’s a handful of favorites or your entire gallery. This way, you only invest in the images you truly love.
