Shelvin and Mikaela’s maternity session was the perfect example of why these moments matter. Expecting twins, Mikaela was absolutely glowing. She exuded grace and calm, while Shelvin brought the fun and laughter that made the whole session feel so warm and genuine. You could feel their excitement in every image—the way they looked at each other, the way Mikaela gently cradled her bump, and the way they already seemed like a team, ready to take on this next chapter together.


We styled a variety of looks for their session—from soft and dreamy neutrals to bold, powerful colors. Each setup highlighted a different facet of pregnancy: the softness, the strength, the beauty, and the divinity of motherhood. And that angel wing shot? Pure magic. Mikaela looked like an absolute goddess, and it was such a powerful visual for what it means to carry life.


And of course, just like with their newborn session, we had to include a few blooper photos! Shelvin snuck in some silly faces and tongue-out moments that were too good not to share. Because parenthood isn’t just about the picture-perfect—it’s also full of goofy, unscripted, heartwarming chaos, and that deserves to be remembered too.
