A Dreamy, Out-of-This-World Maternity Session | Airdrie + Calgary Maternity Photographer

There’s something so special about helping moms feel absolutely stunning—especially during pregnancy when, let’s be honest, you don’t always feel your best. That’s exactly what we focused on for this incredible maternity session.


This gorgeous mama came to my studio beforehand to try on a variety of gowns from my luxurious client wardrobe. Together, we planned each look and backdrop to create something that truly felt magical and completely unique to her. I love offering this gown try-on experience—it helps my clients feel confident and excited heading into their session, knowing exactly what styles they’ll be wearing.

With her other pregnancies with her other children, this mama has already done an outdoor maternity session and a classic studio session with simple, elegant looks. This time, she told me she wanted to do something completely different—something out of this world.


And I think we nailed it. From bold, whimsical sets to soft, fairytale-inspired moments, we created a gallery full of variety, colour, and pure magic. Watching this mama light up in front of the camera and feel truly beautiful in these gowns was the best part of it all.
