You Have To Get Photos Done Right Now...

This isn't meant to be a sad blog post or to scare you in any way this is just a post I thought I should write because I recently lost someone and because of that I have learned some things. Photos can freeze a moment in time and every time you look back on them you will feel those same emotions you felt when the photo was taken. Photos can make you feel like that someone is still with you even when they have passed on.


Last October my 13-year-old dog passed away unexpectedly and my whole world was turned upside down. My dog, Milkyway, was there for me for every big moment of my life. He was there when I had my first breakup, when I started middle school, when I graduated high school, when I moved out for the first time, and when my boyfriend proposed to me. I couldn't imagine a world without seeing his face so do you know what I did?


I bought a digital photo frame (Thank you amazon prime!!) and put every single photo I had of him on it and now it sits right on my desk so even though Milkyway has passed I still feel him with me each day. So don't wait on photos!!

Don't postpone getting photos done until you lose weight because let's be honest, no matter how many pounds we lose there is always going to be another goal or another thing we want to work on. Plus when your family and friends are looking back at those photos, they aren't going to pick you apart, they are going to remember that moment and how much fun you had. Your kids are going to look back and see how much their mom loved them and that is just so precious.


Don't get me wrong I used to always say that Malik and I would get photos done once I met my goal weight but then I realized other than selfies, we really didn't have any fun interacting photos together. That realization made me sad and I messaged my favorite couples photographer that day and booked a session right away. I absolutely love all these photos and I know that I am going to look back on these photos with so much love and happiness. They will probably make me laugh every time as well because I will remember how awkward we were in front of the camera.
