CALGARY BELLY TO BABY PHOTOGRAPHER - MEAGAN PAIGE PHOTOGRAPHY

 

The Cherry Blossom trees in Calgary only last a couple weeks but DANG THEY ARE SO MAGICAL when they are here. We originally had planned to do the session at a different park but when my friend told me the Cherry Blossom trees were still thriving I just knew we had to do the session here. It also worked perfectly that they were expecting a baby girl so the gorgeous pink background there were going to have because of the trees worked for that as well.

This gorgeous mama picked three gowns from my Client Wardrobe and they all fit her perfectly. We started with this two piece green dress from the Myrtle and Moss Shop, then we switched to the dad's favourite with the sparkly top, and lastly she wore the gown you see above which is a maroon pink kind of shade with a REALLY long train.

The best part about this park is there is so many different spots all right next to each other so with every gown we were able to get different scenery looks without having to walk a bunch in between. I could already tell from this session, that their oldest daughter was going to be a great big sister. She had so much fun during both sessions and even helped mom pick her images at the ordering appointment.

Their new baby girl decided to make her arrival three weeks early so they were actually the last session I did before my surgery and I definitely ended my work week on a high. Their newborn session went AMAZING and we were able to get all the photos they really wanted like this one below.

I always start my newborn sessions by doing the family and sibling photos first. I find this is best because then the parents can relax for the rest of their session without worrying about anyone spilling on their clothes and wrecking their hair.

After the family photos are done, It is all about baby! This sweetheart slept almost the whole time during her session and she looks ADORABLE in every color. I was definitely not shocked when her parents decided to buy the full newborn gallery because narrowing it down would have been way to hard.
