I get so excited every single time I see this family walk into my studio. Truly. Watching families grow through baby milestone sessions is one of the biggest joys of my job, and this crew has been with me from the very beginning.

I was lucky enough to photograph their older child, Oslo, at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months, and then I had the privilege of welcoming their newest little love, Ulla, for her newborn session, 3-month milestone, and now her 6-month milestone session. And the fun doesn’t stop here—I’ll be seeing her again later this year for her first birthday cake smash, which honestly feels like the grand finale of baby’s first year.

Every child milestone session with this family includes thoughtful, themed setups that Amanda and I plan together ahead of time. For Ulla’s 6-month milestone photos, we decided to go super girly and floral and recreated a whimsical book setup—similar to what we did for Oslo’s 6-month session—so the images will look absolutely perfect displayed side by side on their wall. Those kinds of details are what make milestone photography so special and meaningful over time.

We also added a simple setup with a delicate string of pearls, and I’m pretty sure it ended up being both mine and Amanda’s favorite from the entire session. Sometimes less really is more.

I have a serious soft spot for 6-month milestone sessions because this is when your baby’s personality really starts to shine. They’re sitting, they’re expressive, and yes… they actually smile at me now—which is just more proof that I am funny and not lame like my husband claims 😂

Ulla loved having her feet tickled, playing peek-a-boo behind the camera, and getting lots of mommy kisses on her cheeks. Those sweet little interactions always lead to the most genuine smiles. And let’s talk about the arm rolls—because wow. Her baby chunk completely stole the show, and I loved that her mom wanted to fully embrace and show off those delicious rolls in all their glory.

We absolutely love a happy, healthy, chunky baby in my studio. And if I’m being honest, it might be because it brings me right back to when my own son, Jasper, had the best baby rolls ever—and I miss them dearly.

Hi! I’m Meagan Paige, the photographer behind the camera—and also the one answering your emails, planning your sessions, posting on social media, and editing every image you receive. I’ve been a professional photographer for over 5 years, and I truly believe I was born in the wrong era. I’m obsessed with all things vintage (especially vintage cameras), and that love for timeless style carries into everything I create.

When I’m not photographing sessions, you’ll usually find me hunting for new props for future shoots or spending time with my amazing husband, our little guy, and our very energetic pups. Family means everything to me, which is why I’m so passionate about capturing real moments and turning them into memories you can hold onto forever.

This website is a reflection of my heart and my work. I regularly update it with new sessions so it always feels fresh and inspiring.
