I can't believe I am typing this but MALIK AND I ARE HAVING A BABY !!!!!!!!
After months of trying, I am so happy to say that I am pregnant and due next February. Even though I have gone for a couple of ultrasounds and doctor appointments sometimes this still doesn't feel real. The Love I already have for this baby is just unreal and I cannot wait to start feeling the baby move in my tummy (which should happen anytime this month). I am currently 16 weeks pregnant and I get to find out if we are having a boy or girl later this month. I AM SO EXCITED, the gender reveal party we are having seriously can't come soon enough. I will do a Facebook live of the gender reveal and I will make sure I share it on my Facebook Page when it happens.

So far pregnancy has been a bit rough between the fatigue and nausea I have had a tough couple of months. However things are starting to calm down and now I am just dealing with lots of heartburn, so this baby better come out with a full head of hair!!
My chiropractor told me I need to start swimming since I am so short, this will help relieve the back pain I will experience since the baby is going to be a lot harder for me to carry since there is only so much room for the baby to go. #shortpeopleproblems Malik thinks this is hilarious because I HATE SWIMMING and I am terrified of putting my face in the water but I am trying and it is definitely a love-hate process.
Embarrassing Crying Moments I have had so far:
After our doctor's appt at 12 weeks when they told me the baby was okay and healthy, I burst into tears when we left because I was so scared that this was a dream and the baby wasn't going to be there anymore
One night I was so nauseous I needed Malik to put the butter chicken on the plate for me because the thought of doing it made me want to throw up and I felt so useless
That same night I also couldn't decide between a popsicle and an ice cream sandwich and that brought me to tears.
Some days I cry for really no reason and stress over things I already have plans for but they still make me cry. Like where is all of the baby's stuff going to go when it arrives?!?!?!
What can I say, pregnancy is a wild ride but I am so excited to see what this new chapter of our life brings. A special shout out to Red Bloom Photography who took these amazing announcement photos for Malik and I!!!
For my Clients wondering when I am going on Maternity leave, the plan so far is to take the end of January to the end of March off because I feel like this baby is going to come earlier than the due date so I want to make sure I am prepared.
