With the kids at home from school, your house may be chaotic and you are running out of ideas to keep them busy. Here is a list of ideas I have found to help entertain your children for a little bit so you can relax!!
1. WATCH FROZEN 2
I am a total Frozen fan (even though I am 23 years old) and I absolutely loved Frozen 2! Disney+ released Frozen 2 on their streaming service because of all the children who are stuck at home because of the virus.
2. START YOUR DAY WITH A DANCE PARTY
Rachel Hollis always starts her events and trainings with a Dance party! It is a great way to energize your body and get you in the right mood set to tackle your day!! So crank that music and dance until you can't possibly dance no more!!
3. COLORING WITHOUT THE MESS
Crayola made this Mess Free Art kits so your kids can color all day long.(without colouring your walls and basically everything else in their path) You can get these kits on Amazon so you don't even have to leave your house! https://www.amazon.ca/Crayola-Colouring-Washable-Stocking-Stuffers/dp/B01LX3NJO8
4. FIT IN YOUR WORKOUT AND LET YOUR KIDS JOIN
I know all the gyms are closed but there are TONS of free workouts you can find on Youtube. You can get your exercise in and maybe your kids will even join you (or distract you and make your workout harder but the harder the workout the better the results??? Right?!?!?!)
Here are some great workouts on YouTube:
5. MISSION IMPOSSIBLE
I saw my friend Amanda do this with her kids and it looked so much fun. Find a hallway, tape some yarn to the walls so it looks like lasers and then tell your kids to get through the hallway without touching ANYTHING!!
6. WATER TABLE FUN
Do you have an empty shallow bin? Fill it with some water and add some toys and then BAM you now have a great Water Sensory Table for your kids to play with. Here is a great DIY if you want to take it to the next step!
7. FREE EDUCATION FOR YOUR KIDS (Grades Pre-K to 12)
Scholastic has fun educational things for your children to learn each day during this tough time without school. You can access it here at this link:
