There’s something truly special about capturing both maternity and newborn sessions for my clients. It’s such a beautiful journey—one that starts with the glowing anticipation of motherhood and ends with the tiny, perfect arrival of a new baby. I absolutely love it when clients book both sessions with me because it allows me to document their story from bump to baby, creating a cohesive and heartfelt collection of memories.
For this particular maternity session, I had the pleasure of experimenting with a new backdrop I created using draped fabric to achieve a dreamy boho vibe. My client had specifically requested a natural, effortless feel, and I loved bringing that vision to life. The way the fabric cascaded added the perfect softness and warmth to her photos, making her look absolutely radiant. Seeing how much she loved the setup made me even more excited for our newborn session!
When her little one arrived, we switched gears for a completely different—but equally fun—theme. Dad is a mechanic, so we decided to incorporate his profession into the newborn photoshoot. There’s just something irresistibly adorable about tiny babies posed in miniature cars and nestled inside toolboxes. We made sure to keep everything safe and comfortable, using soft padding and careful posing to achieve the perfect look. The result? Some of the cutest mechanic-themed newborn photos you could imagine!
Being able to capture these two monumental moments in a family’s life is why I love what I do. Seeing the joy and excitement in my clients’ eyes—first as they prepare to meet their baby and then as they hold them in their arms—is such an incredible experience. I love knowing that these photos will be cherished for years to come, serving as a reminder of just how magical this journey into parenthood truly is.

I am a mom of the cutest little 1year old ever named Jasper and three crazy puppies. When I am not photographing families, I am going on walks, redecorating my house, or spending way too much time on Pinterest. I love to travel around the world and I am always planning my next trip. I have been to places like Punta Cana, Finland, Paris, and Dublin.
Everyone I know says I was born in the wrong era. I love anything vintage, especially Vintage Cameras!
