Baljit’s Family Session at Confederation Park 🌿 Calgary Family Photographer

One of the greatest joys of being a photographer is getting to watch families grow over the years — and Baljit’s family is one that’s been with me since the very beginning. I’ve had the honor of photographing them since 2018, capturing so many beautiful milestones along the way.


For this year’s family session in Confederation Park, we were all a little nervous — it had been raining all week, and we weren’t sure if the park was going to be soaked and flooded. But as luck would have it, the skies cleared just in time, blessing us with soft, glowing light and the perfect backdrop for their portraits. What made this session even more special is that these two are marking 10 years together — a love story worth celebrating.


During our time together, we captured a mix of posed portraits and candid laughter — the kinds of images that truly reflect Baljit’s family’s personality. The kids loved running along the paths, and her youngest loved showing off his little airplane.


Of course, no outdoor summer session in Calgary is complete without a few mosquito bites 🦟 — but as we laughed about during the shoot, those bites were more than worth it for the memories we created.


Baljit, thank you for trusting me with your memories since 2018. It’s an honor to capture your family year after year, and I can’t wait for the next chapter in your story. 💛
