Creating Christmas magic for Jasper is one of my absolute favourite parts of the holidays. During his first Christmas, I started doing simple little DIY photoshoots at home—nothing to hard, just cozy setups, cute outfits, and lots of giggles—and I quickly realized how easy it can be for parents to capture magical photos of their babies without ever leaving the house. Some photos you can go a bit crazy with in photoshop if you would like but it is not required for any setup!
If you need any cute outfits for any of these setups, Amazon, Children's Place, and Carters are great!! Walmart in Canada is hit or miss but if you are there grocery shopping definitely take a peek in the kids clothing section too!
Here is a Amazon List with adorable outfit options: https://amzn.to/47CK2oG
This year, I’m bringing that tradition back in a big way with 25 days of Christmas photo ideas you can recreate yourself at home, starting December 1st. Think of it as your daily prompt list to help you make adorable memories (and frame-worthy photos!) with your little one all season long.
ORNAMENT BUM!!

All you need is a white blanket,
a Santa hat, and a cute Christmas ball ornament. What I recommend is giving your baby something small to hold so they are content laying on their tummy and that way you can out their Santa hat on and then you can hold the ornament over their bum. It is that simple and that cute and it will literally take you 5 minutes.

HOT COCOA BATH

PEEK A BOO WITH WRAPPING PAPER

All you are going to need is a door frame, some tape, and some cheap wrapping paper that is just paper, not the fancy kind that is shiny at the back like tin foil. If you take photos with your dogs doing this idea as well, you will need some peanut butter to get them to stick their head through the hole. It may also take a couple of tries to do this with your child if they love to rip paper.
MAGICAL PRESENT IDEA

Today all you're gonna need is a blanket a box wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper and a flashlight or your phone and you're just going to put your phone inside the box and have your child look down into it and This is gonna make it look like there's Christmas
magic coming out of the box. It is super easy. You can add a magic overlay on top of your
photo, but that is optional.

CLASSIC SNOWMAN SUGAR COOKIE PHOTO

OK, so first thing first Starbucks failed us this year and they did not come out with the snowman cookie, instead they came out with a penguin head cookie, which is just weird so I recommend posting in one of your local mom groups and seeing if any mom is doing some Christmas baking and see if they will make you a snowman cookie.

CANDY CANE HEART

After trying this video I realized if you hot glue the candy canes together first that is way smarter, and make sure to tape down the wrapping paper to the floor really well because babies love to grab and pull on it.

GIFT BOWS

If you have tons of big boxes from shopping from Costco or Amazon, you are all set. All you need is some cardboard to stick the gift wrapping bows on and then you simply lay your baby down on top of them.
