So what is a Cake Smash?
A cake smash is a great way to celebrate a birthday! Normally, it is for one year olds who are celebrating their very first birthday but I do have a couple cake smashes booked this year for people turning 21, 30, 40, etc. This is the one time it is okay to get messy and just have fun!
Isn't that just a waste of Cake?
The cakes are the perfect size so that there isn't much waste by the end of it and if your child leaves a part of the cake untouched, you can take it home and enjoy a midnight snack!! I have a lot of people who ask me if I think that smashing the cake is a waste of food and money and I totally disagree. It is not only a fun snack for your child but it is also a fun toy during the session. These photos you will cherish forever and the price is ABSOLUTELY worth it!
Who comes up with the themes?
Whenever I get a cake smash inquiry I always ask a parent if they have a theme in mind. Most parents haven't thought of one yet so I will send them too this blog post to give them some ideas!!
